Premier／
Cookie

Privacy Policy
DUSTLIGHT ("we") is an independently operated Counter-Strike 2 match analysis service based in Taiwan. Questions: [email protected].
What we collect
- Account identifiers: when you sign in through Steam we receive your SteamID64 and your public Steam name and avatar. If you link FACEIT we receive your FACEIT nickname and player ID. We never receive your passwords.
- Match statistics: statistics derived from CS2 demos (rounds, kills, damage, utility, competitive rating, and player positions sampled every 0.5 seconds). See "Premier/competitive auto-sync" and "Uploads" below for where demos come from.
- Game authentication code: if you turn on Premier/competitive auto-sync you provide the match-history authentication code Steam generates for you and one match share code. The code can only read your match history; we store it encrypted, with the key held only on our server.
- Other players in your matches: demos contain in-game data of everyone in the match. We use it only to compute your metrics and comparison baselines; we do not create pages for unregistered players or publish their individual statistics.
- Technical logs: access time, IP address and request path, kept for 30 days for security and debugging.
Premier/competitive auto-sync
When enabled, our server periodically asks Valve for your new matches with your code, obtains the demo download address from Valve through our own Steam account, downloads the demo and parses it on our server. Raw demos are deleted immediately after parsing and in any case within 24 hours; we never store, redistribute or publish demo files. You can unlink at any time on the "My stats" page (we delete the code), or revoke the code on Steam's support page to invalidate it instantly.
Uploads
You can also upload demos yourself, or later use the desktop app to parse them on your own computer and upload only statistics. Uploaded raw demos are likewise deleted right after parsing.
FACEIT automatic downloads (planned paid feature)
If offered, we will download only matches you played, only after you authorise it. Raw demo files are deleted within 24 hours of parsing and are never stored long-term, redistributed or published.
How we use it
To generate your review films, map point clouds, player cards, trade receipts and wallpapers; to compute anonymous aggregate statistics; and to answer your email. We do not sell data, show ads, or use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
Sharing
Your data is private by default. A page becomes visible only to people holding a share link you create, and you can revoke it at any time.
Cookies
One essential session cookie keeps you signed in. Cloudflare, our network provider, may set security cookies to prevent abuse.
Storage and processors
Data is stored on our server in Taiwan; Cloudflare provides network and DNS services. We do not share your data with other third parties except where required by law.
Retention and your rights
We keep your account and statistics until you delete your account. Email us to access, export, correct or delete your data; we respond within 30 days. Deleted data leaves daily backups within 14 days.
Age
DUSTLIGHT is intended for players aged 13 and over, in line with Steam's requirements.
Changes
We will update the date above and announce material changes on this website.
